Master’s Double Degree in Educational Technology (M.Pd) & Designing Education (M.A.) is a flagship program by a global partnership between two credential higher education institutions in Indonesia and England. This program is hosted by the Educational Technology Dept. Universitas Negeri Malang and the Design Department, Goldsmiths, England.

Curriculum & Structure
Duration
Completed in just 2 years (shorter than many double degree programs that often take longer).
- Year 1: Universitas Negeri Malang (Educational Technology focus).
- Year 2: Goldsmiths, University of London (Designing Education focus).
Double Degree Structure
Students experience two academic cultures with seamless transition. One integrated research project, but presented in two defenses: (1) Defense at UM, (2) Defense at Goldsmiths.

Application Process
- Admission period: January to August 2026 (open admissions)
- Applicatios will receive results approximately 8 weeks after submitting the application.
- Selecion Procedures
- Â Application submission to UM systems
- Document eligibility screening (UM OIA and Office of Education)
- Interview phase at UM
- Potential candidates will be given two letters of recommendation by the UM Education Office
- Candidates submit applications to the Goldsmiths portal
- Interview process by Design Dept., Goldsmiths

This program is supported through the Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP), Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, under the Double Degree and Joint Degree Scholarship Scheme. Funding coverage and eligibility are subject to LPDP regulations and selection outcomes.
